UK Garage is in the middle of a revival, with a new generation turning it into something built for today’s dancefloors. In a scene full of nostalgia and trend-chasing, these five producers are carving out their own space; pushing the sound forward while staying true to its roots. Each brings their own identity to the UKG resurgence.
These are the household names of tomorrow.
Silva Bumpa
Sheffield’s own Silva Bumpa is reviving UKG, bassline, and speed garage with innovative samples, sliding organs, and warped vocals. His Lockedit EP “What About The DJ?” on Locked On, with gems like "Without U" featuring Megan Wroe and "Songs of Praise" with Capo Lee, captured that mid-’00s bounce while feeling fresh. Backed by a Rinse FM residency and Boiler Room, he’s now selling out tours across Europe, Australia, and NZ, all while staying rooted in Sheffield’s pulsing bassline legacy.
